Camping
Dawn 2 Dusk Safaris are camping specialists—ideal for travelers on a budget.
Set up camp with Dawn 2 Dusk in secure, fenced areas of the wild. Choose from:
- Two-person basic tents with camping mattresses
- Two-person luxury tents with camping beds
- Family tents for two adults and two or three children
All Dawn 2 Dusk campsites include camp tables and chairs or stools, and a private area for showering. Fresh meals are prepared daily by a camp chef. We carry all the equipment for proper food storage and preparation, and all utensils for comfortable dining.
Local nighttime guards, familiar with the wildlife in the area, patrol the fences while you sleep.
Traditional Lodging
Dawn 2 Dusk Safaris arranges lodging and meals in a range of basic facilities that keep you close to nature. Meals may be in private or in communal dining areas. Bathroom facilities may be nearby or ensuite, depending on your preference. When electricity is not available, kerosene lanterns add to the quiet and charm.
- Bandas and other parks lodging
The Kenya Wildlife Services operates lodging in most national parks. Bandas are shelters with beds and basic amenities.
- Permanent tented camps
Room-size, canvas tent camps are available at many safari locations. Dawn 2 Dusk gives preference to locally owned businesses.
